Kelly and Steph - Evangelizing at the Night Bazaar

(11/1/08) An incredible group of students from Grace International School getting ready to evangelize to foreigners at the Night Bazaar in Chiang Mai.

(Kelly) This past month, I had the wonderful privilege to share about Jesus at the Night Bazaar along with some fellow classmates. Since most of us can’t speak Thai, it would’ve been difficult to share our faith with the Thai people. But many foreigners and tourists visit the Night Bazaar for souvenir shopping and sightseeing, so we handed out Christian tracts and shared our faith with foreigners who would listen.

Personally, I approached many people. However, I was rejected MANY times! But in the Bible, it says that when you share your faith and are rejected, treasures are stored up for you in Heaven. So consider it also a blessing when you are rejected! Overall, it was a marvelous experience to see God’s work at the Night Bazaar. I could see the seeds of faith we planted that night gradually growing as we went deeper and deeper in our conversations about their faith and Christianity. It was incredible! I'm looking forward to the next opportunity to evangelize again!
