A Day of Fishing
The ZOE kids spent one morning fishing at a nearby man-made pond...just minutes away. Holding simple bamboo poles made by our Thai staff, the children caught tons of fish. Notice the different methods of fishing (poles stuck in the dirt, lying down!!)? Guess what was for dinner the next night? That's right, grilled fish!!

wow, that was a pretty big fish! It didn't look like the other ones in the net, were they all the same? what kind of fish were they? did Kelly get to go?! thanks again for all your posts! kari
Yes, that big one looks like a different kind of fish. We actually didn't catch that one. Our kids had man-made bamboo poles, so they could only drop their lines in...no casting and reeling in. That big fish was caught by a gentleman with a "real" pole. He was able to cast his line into the middle of the pond. Yes, Kelly got to go, but we got there really late, because Rob and I had Thai class that morning. He didn't catch anything, but he still enjoyed throwing the line in.
