Now that we're gone...
Now that Kelly and I are out of town, I'm reasonably certain that the Dodgers will take the NL pennant, as well as the World Series for that matter. Not to say we're bad luck or anything, but Joe Torre is actually paying us to stay away this year (wouldn't that be cool if the Dodgers decided to support the work of ZOE?). We're both still die-hard Dodger fans, and we're cheering on our Blue Crew from across many time zones. It's actually been quite fun watching pitch-by-pitch through cyberspace! We can't actually "see" what's happening, but our imaginations have really improved these past couple of weeks as we "watch" Manny crush a towering homerun, or Billingsley snap off a wicked breaking ball, or the series-ending celebration at the pitcher's mound. We can almost "hear" Vinnie say, "...and it's a long fly ball to left-center field...a way back...and it's gone!!". It's been extra-special going on this ride together...

To the Tang Gang, it was a nice surprise to receive your newsletter instead of tons of college recruiting mail for Jacie. I'll e-mail you a longer update later. You all look so happy! Take care, Laurie M.

I just got your newsletter in the mail today and came here to look....good thing you had some great pics posted! :-) We will be praying for your family and following your ministry from afar! Denise, isn't it wonderful to be in a missionary family again??
In Christ,
Pam (Denise's old roomie from Japan)
Rob, can you please not jinx us by predicting how the Dodgers are going to win the WS.
Well, the newsletter made it to church today. So expect some more traffic here! Looks really good - you got a great team! Praying for you!
